I founded Travis Koehler Writing, LLC in 2018 after more than 20 years of corporate management, marketing, leadership, and customer-engagement experience. Throughout my corporate career, including work with organizations such as Gibson Guitar Corporation and Starbucks Corporation, I gained firsthand experience with leadership, operations, brand positioning, hiring, customer experience, and the expectations placed on professionals in competitive business environments.

Today, I use that perspective to help experienced professionals communicate their careers with greater clarity, credibility, and purpose.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and am a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP), and Certified Technical Writer (CTW). I am also a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC) and the National Resume Writers’ Association (NRWA).

Those disciplines complement one another. Resume writing requires more than polished language. It requires an understanding of audience, business priorities, professional positioning, career progression, measurable impact, and the story connecting one stage of a career to the next.

My corporate background helps me recognize the business significance behind a client's experience. My communications and technical-writing training helps me organize complex information clearly. My resume-writing and interview-coaching experience helps me translate that information into a focused professional message.

Writing is one part of how I think about storytelling.

I am also a photographer and musician, interests that have strengthened my appreciation for creativity, individual identity, and the many ways a story can be shaped for an audience without losing what makes it authentic.
